How much do granite worktops cost?
Granite worktop prices depend on the colour, thickness and size of your kitchen. Anthony gives you a fixed price at your free home visit — no hidden extras. Most granite worktop installations start from £850 for a standard kitchen.
Do granite worktops need sealing?
Yes — granite is a natural porous stone and should be sealed on installation and periodically thereafter. We seal all our granite worktops as part of the installation. Annual re-sealing is recommended to maintain the surface.
How long do granite worktops last?
Granite worktops are extremely durable and will last the lifetime of your kitchen with proper care. All our granite worktops are backed by the Artigiano 30-year guarantee.
Can granite worktops be repaired?
Minor chips can often be repaired by a professional. Granite is very hard and damage is rare with normal use. Avoid dropping heavy objects on the edges, which are the most vulnerable area.
Granite vs quartz — which should I choose?
Granite is 100% natural stone — unique, heat-resistant and adds real character. Quartz is engineered — more consistent in pattern, non-porous and requires no sealing. Both are premium choices. Anthony will help you decide at your free home visit.
